The management and staff of Altitude Brewing Ltd. believe we have a responsibility to sell alcohol in a responsible manner. Because of this, we have implemented the following Host Responsibility Policy.

Website visitors are required to confirm they are over 18 years of age before accessing the site.

Customers are required to submit credit card details using their own credit card.

It is against the law to supply alcohol to minors. If our courier partners are in doubt about your age, they will ask for identification. Acceptable forms of proof of age are a New Zealand photo driver’s license, Kiwi Access Card (18+) or a current passport.

We maintain a training and management policy to give our staff the skills and support they need to do their job responsibly.

We collect personal information from you, including information about your:

  • interactions with us

  • billing or purchase information

We collect your personal information in order to:

  • optimise the wholesale and retail sales process

Besides our staff, we share this information with:

  • Shopify and Mailchimp in order to optimise the wholesale and retail sales process.

Providing some information is optional. If you choose not to enter billing and contact details, we'll be unable to fulfil the order.

We keep your information safe by storing it in password protected locations and only allowing certain staff to access it.

We keep your information for as long as it is necessary for its purpose at which point we securely destroy it by securely erasing all digital files.

You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong. returns policy

RETURNS

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at beerplease@altitudebrewing.co.nz. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: Altitude Brewing c/o Mainfreight, 22/24 McNulty Road, Cromwell 9310, New Zealand

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Please note that if your country of residence is not New Zealand, shipping your goods may take longer than expected.

DAMAGES AND ISSUES

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we may evaluate the issue and make it right.

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalised items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

EXCHANGES

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

REFUNDS

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return to let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
